Complaints continue to be received regarding dog fouling in Woolavington - particularly in the Crancombe Lane area. The footpath link between Meadway and Crancombe Lane (see photographs) has been particularly badly affected and children walking to School have trodden in it.
Dog owners are reminded of their social and legal responsibilities to clean up dog faeces. In addition to being unsightly, smelly and unpleasant, they can carry disease.
There are specific dog waste bins at the Crancombe Lane and Sedgemoor Way entrances to the Sports Field and dog owners can also dispose of bagged dog waste in the public general purpose waste bins throughout the village.
