T

he present Woolavington Village Hall began life as a Social Club mainly serving workers from the a nearby Royal Ordnance Factory (now BAE Systems).  This closed in 1973 and remained empty until it was acquired in 1979 by the Village as a replacement to the older, much smaller Hall which had served the Village well for 50 years.  The Parish Council are the Hall's Trustees with a separate Committee to manage its day-to-day affairs maintenance and improvements.

Woolavington Parish Council provides annual grants towards its daily upkeep and renovations. The Hall Management Committee have an ongoing project for updating and improving the facility. Recent major improvements have been new kitchen & flooring, central heating system, new stage and lighting, new wooden floors in the main hall and function room. UPVC double glazing has been installed throughout the building.
