W oolavington Village Hall can meet most needs.  There are three public rooms and a well appointed kitchen, all rooms are centrally heated with thermostatic controls on radiators. Access and toilet facilities are provided for people with disabilities.

Recent upgrades have been, refurbished lighting throughout the building with the Main Hall now able to provide various "mood" effects. A sound system is provided with speakers in each room.  A loop system has been installed and is shortly to be commissioned.  

Main Hall
The main hall is licensed to seat over 200 ('close seating') and 140 seated at tables with a stage and bar area. A new wooden floor has recently been installed providing a light and airy space. The kitchen is accessed via the main hall

Kitchen
New kitchen cabinets, worktops, sinks, cooker and flooring has been fitted in 2005.  Other appliances such as, microwave, hot water urn and filter coffee machine are provided

Lounge
The lounge can comfortably accommodate between 25 - 30 people. Wall lights provide a more intimate setting.  Direct bar access is available from the lounge

Function (Harold Belcher) Room
This room has a new wooden floor and lowered ceiling to improve the acoustics. It can be accessed either from the main building or via its own separate entrance
It also provides a good airy space with a small kitchenette off this room for making light refreshment and washing up. Also off this room are self contained toilets.

  • The Village Hall is subject to Health & Safety checks by the local authority.
  • It is licensed by the local authority and is subject to licensing inspections.
  • It is limited to twelve events where alcohol may be sold.
  • It has public liability insurance (£5,000,000), whilst this covers use of the Village Hall and its equipment, users are advised that this does not cover the use of their own equipment/ materials in the hall.
