Notification has been received from the District Council that a public meeting to discuss the planning application for a five turbine wind farm at Withy Farm, East Huntspill - the EDF Proposal (ref 54/11/00004) will be held on Monday, 13th February 2012 at 6.00 p.m. in East Huntspill Village Hall.
A short presentation will be given by the District Council's planning team to explain the proposal. The main purpose of the meeting is to give local residents and other interested parties the opportunity to question both the developers and the Council's planning team.
Members of the District Council's Development Committee will also be in attendance. They will observe only and will not be taking part in the debate or answering questions. The planning application will be determined at a formal meeting of the Development Committee in due course following the public meeting. A date for the Committee meeting has not yet been fixed.
Due to the complex and technical nature of this application, questions will need to be submitted in advance of the meeting.
