Woolavington Rural Activities Project (WRAP) has submitted a closed bid for funding to
run a Youth Work training programme in Woolavington. If this application is successfully
accepted, the "Community Programme" will run for nine months and will be based at
Woolavington Village Hall. Training will be provided by Vista and apart from training
sessions the project will comprise an opportunity shop where trainees can access
information on further learning plus paid positions and voluntary opportunities. There
will be creche facilities during training sessions. This course will be open to adults
aged over 18. The project will commence in March and as places are limited to only eight,
those interested in joining the course or finding out more should email Christine at
wrap2@tiscali.co.uk.
