The Parish Council have made arrangements for Sedgemoor District Council to carry out extensive maintenance work to the eastern hedge in the Sports Field. As can be seen from the picture, the hedge had grown in height over recent years and was overhanging the gardens of adjecent properties. The hedge has been reduced to approximately 2 metres in height and it will then be trimmed annually in future to keep it in manageable condition. Work started on 21st November and has just been completed. The following picture shows how the hedge now looks.
