The Parish Council have received a report from Mike Zobel, Woolavington's Public Path Liaison Officer, that all of the public footpaths in the parish are in good order. The Parish Council would like to thank Mike and Richard Loveless for all the maintenance work they carry out on the local footpaths and Roger Lucken for loan of his brush cutter.
Notification has also just been received that the Order to divert part of Footpath BW 37/8 was made on 2nd December 2011. This footpath runs from the Causeway to Reeds Drive. The effect of the Order will be to correct an error on the definitive map. The map showed the line of the footpath starting to the north of the former chapel and then running through the building plot. The "new route" will be that which has always been used, starting between the chapel and school room and running along the track to the cemetery.
