A photographic record of the 2015 Woolavington Show held in the Village Hall on Saturday, 22nd August

There was a record number of entries in the vegetable classes and a magnificent display of potatoes and runner beans can be seen with cucumbers, onions and tomatoes in the background.

There was a display of high quality blooms in the classes for garden flowers. Sweet peas are in the foreground with dahlias behind them and the tops of gladioli can just be seen with the numerous prize roses in the background.

A fine display of mouth-watering cakes. Luckily people were able to bid for them in the auction at the end of the show!

A close up of the hand writing entered by Leigh-Ann Ireland which was voted as best children's entry in the Show by the judges

A general view of the crowd viewing the various stalls and displays. A tombola and book stall can be seen in this photo.

The village Kick Boxing Club put on a display which proved to be very popular with the audience

We were very fortunate with the weather, once again being blessed with an afternoon of very warm sunshine. As the Committee was clearing up afterwards a thunderstorm was approaching the village so we hope that everyone got safely home before the heavy rain arrived.

A total of £1,186.48 was raised for Village Hall funds and the Committee would like to thank all those who contributed to what was a very successful afternoon.
